Anya Joins Interdisciplary Experts to Discuss Malaria Control at KCL
On May 2nd, Anya was invited as a keynote speaker for the 12th annual Health Challenge Thailand 2026, hosted at King’s College London. SHe shared her on-going work in the neuroscience of mosquitoes mating beavhiour. Alongside Professor Dame Anne Mills (Health Economics & Policy, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine) and Professor Lorenz von Seidlein (Global Health Researcher, University of Oxford), the also panel discussed a multifaceted approach to malaria control and the evolving landscape of its eradication.
The discussion highlighted the critical intersection of economic policy and basic research in tackling tropical diseases. Anya enjoyed meeting Thai academics, policy makers, and even the Secretary-General of the National Health Security Office of Thailand.
